    1. Is à la carte available?

      Yes, an à la carte menu is available, along with our tasting menus.

    2. Can I bring my own wine?

      Yes, we have a $100 corkage fee per 750ml bottle opened. (But on Wednesdays and Thursdays you can BYO for $25 per bottle)

    3. What’s the menu?

      We have a 6-course and 8-course tasting menu which changes with the seasons. An à la carte menu is also available. Check out our menu page.  

    4. Do you cater for vegetarian and vegan?

      Yes we do, just note this in your booking.

    5. Do you cater for dietary and allergy restrictions?

      Yes with prior notice 

    1. Do you have private dining?

      Yes, for a maximum of 36 people.

      We have a Cellar for up to 12 guests with no minimum spend needed.

      We also have The French Kitchen suitable for up to 36 guests. A minimum spend applies.

    2. Can you cater for 80-100 guests with a buyout of the venue.

      Yes, please email us on info@sidatthefrenchcafe.co.nz and we can assist you with your query.

    3. Do you host weddings?

      Yes, we can host small and large weddings. Our event manager will be happy to assit with your query. Please also view our Weddings page for more information and images.

    1. When are you open?Tuesday - Sunday evenings from 5:30pm

      Saturday lunch from 12:00pm, Closed on Mondays

    2. Where do I find you and where can I park?

      We are located at 210 Symonds St.

      Parking is available off street across the restaurant or in an Auckland Council Carpark at the intersection of Symonds street and Mt Eden road 100ms from the restaurants

    3. Are children allowed?

      The French Cafe menu is suitable for children 12 years of age and older. If you do wish to bring a young child to experience The French Cafe please contact the restaurant first to discuss your options.

    4. Is there disabled access?

      Yes

    5. Are the tables sharing tables?

      No you have your own table for your booking. Unless you have booked in for one of our "one off" evenings, which are usually communal dining. 

    6. Can I use my Anise Voucher at The French Cafe?

      Yes, you can use any vouchers purchased originally for Anise at The French Cafe. Please get in touch if you require any more information.
