  • Friends of The French Café- Chef Mark Southon

    30th April 2026

Friends of The French Café is a new event series celebrating connection, creativity, and the friendships that shape great food.

For our very first chapter, we welcome long-time friend and celebrated chef Mark Southon into the kitchen alongside Sid Sahrawat and the team at The French Café.

This collaboration is deeply personal. Sid and Mark’s friendship spans years, travelling together, sharing milestones, and even welcoming children born just hours apart. Their families have grown alongside one another, and their journeys in hospitality have long been intertwined.

Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated menu of four snacks followed by four courses ($195 per person), with each chef contributing two snacks and two dishes, creating a true meeting of minds, styles, and flavours.

This is more than a collaboration; it’s a story told through food, memory, and friendship.

An unmissable evening and the beginning of something special.
